All our instructors are fully qualified licensed Driving Instructors and highly experienced. They are continually upgrading their skills to ensure you receive the best tuition possible.
We offer full support to students and their parents to assist them with the successful completion of their logbook. We have a Logbook Progress Sheet available to all on request.
To successfully apply for your drivers licence you will need to be competent in all aspects of driving. With the existing logbook it is compulsory for learner drivers to complete 50 hours of driving experience. This requirement is designed to improve the safety of the learner and all other road users.
It is not necessary or compulsory for all 50 hours of lessons to be taken with a driving school, however an experienced and fully qualified instructor can enhance the student's learning process, and prepare the student not only for passing their driving test, but improving of safe driving skills. By taking lessons with a driving instructor the student can benefit from the experience of a professional driving instructor and have the added security of a fully insured, dual-controlled car.
Our instructors tailor a course to meet the needs of each individual learner. During tuition with Peters Driving School the following items will be covered:

Heavy Traffic and peak-hour driving

Reverse parking and 3-point turns

Lane changing, merging and overtaking

Driving in the relevant test area

Peters Driving School hourly rates are highly competitive compared to other established driving schools. We offer packages of six and twelve hours. If students would like to use driving instructor's car for the test we offer a 2 hour test day package, which includes an hour l
esson before the test and the use of the school car for the test itself (This is not included in the the 6 or 12 hour packages).

Learner Driver DVD
The Learner Driver DVD is available to order from Peters Driving School. The DVD includes new logbook lesson plans and covers the new driving test.
